We've made great strides in incorporating technology into our classrooms. We believe that if our children are to excel in a fast-changing, global society, we must provide them with the technology resources they need to succeed in a digital age. 

Centreville ES provides one laptop for every student and utilize a set of FCPS core software programs across all grade levels.   Links to the most commonly used instructional software tools are listed on this website's Digital Learning Tools page. 

Digital Citizenship

Learning to use technology responsibly, or being a good digital citizen, is an important aspect of technology integration. Digital citizenship is described as the norms of appropriate and responsible behavior when using technology. It includes having an understanding of the positive and negative impacts technology use can have on yourself or others. Teachers are incorporating information about digital citizenship throughout their instruction. Creating an awareness of digital citizenship helps teachers and parents talk about what all users should know regarding appropriate technology use.
